Wordpress Developer (Freelance)

Join our team! We’re looking for a highly skilled freelance Wordpress Developer to build and maintain a series of sites for our clients. You will have plenty of experience, and especially you will be able to build and manage multi-sites. This job is a freelance position, for individuals, no agencies.

 

Digital & Nomad is a boutique studio and agency based in London founded by Estela Oliva, an ex-Google employee and creative entrepreneur. We create digital products such as websites, VR and apps, we also offer digital services to clients from across the globe including campaigns, comms management and digital marketing. We operate online.

 

We’re looking for a highly skilled web developer to help us create and improve websites. We are looking for developers who are not just technically savvy but also good communicators and great team players. Especially as we all work remotely, communication and planning is key for success. 

 

Tasks and responsibilities

• You will have plenty of Wordpress experience, with the ability to manage multisite installations. 

• You can manage staging sites and release to perfection

• You are able to manage hosting - AWS or Siteground

• You are confident taking other developers code and make it shine

• You can help us assess new feature development. 

• You are good with people and can communicate both technical and creatively

 

This is a freelance position, so you will have to take care of your own tax. Ideally you are based in the UK although if your English is proficient enough, you could be based elsewhere (if the tax situation allows). We organise our projects by sprints, which we will schedule with you. 

 

The daily fee is up to £375+VAT for cultural and humanitarian projects, and up to £400+VAT for other projects. Digital & Nomad is an inclusive agency and studio and we believe in equal opportunities. No agencies please.
